What Is the Profisampler Aluminium Used For?
Solvents and other flammable liquids are hazardous to handle in the open, so it helps to draw a sample straight into its bottle rather than dipping and pouring. A glass bottle with a GL 45 thread, from 100 to 1000 ml, is screwed onto the sampler and the vacuum then draws the liquid up from a drum, tank, tanker, wagon, ship's tank, lake or well, from as deep as 4 m of water. Filling-level control and the venting valve stop the bottle overfilling, and automatic return flow lets surplus liquid run back. The sampler is then packed in its transport case.
