What Is the Gyratory Sieve Shaker Motorized Used For?
A gyratory motion spreads the sample over the mesh in a circular path, while the added up-and-down movement lifts particles so that they keep meeting fresh apertures instead of sliding over the same area. A stack of as many as 7 sieves, 150 mm to 200 mm in diameter, goes on the inclined table, the pair of rods and the holder are fixed above the uppermost sieve, and the motor is started; taking out the stop pin under the table gives a rotary motion when that is wanted. With the extra-cost adapter, 300 mm and 450 mm sieves can be shaken as well.
