What Is the Permeability Apparatus Three Cell Used For?
The water permeability of concrete shows how easily water under pressure can pass through it, which matters for water-retaining structures, basements and the long-term durability of reinforced concrete. Specimens are sealed in the cells, the cells are connected to the pressure chamber, and pressure is built up with the foot pump, an air line or the optional compressor, then held at the required value with the regulator and read on the gauge.
