What Is the Test Tube Rack, PP Used For?
A test tube rack keeps tubes upright and apart while they are filled, labelled, left to react or waiting to be read, so that the contents do not spill and each tube can be identified. The operator sets the 25 mm tubes in the rack and lifts them out as each step of the work is reached. After washing, tubes can be placed upside down on the six drying pins so that the water drains away. The polypropylene rack is autoclavable, which allows it to be sterilised when the work needs it.
