Digital Conductivity Meter
Product Code : EL-ETLE-10968
Digital Conductivity Meter (code EL-ETLE-10968) is used to find how readily water and other liquid samples conduct electricity, measured through a conductivity cell over 0 to 1000 Mhos/cm in 5 ranges. The 3.5 digit LED display reads to ±1% FS ±1 digit, the cell constant is adjustable, temperature compensation is auto or manual over 0 to 50 °C, and the meter runs on 230 V ±10%, 50 Hz AC.

What Is the Digital Conductivity Meter Used For?
Conductivity shows how much dissolved ionic matter a water sample contains, so it is used to check the purity of distilled and deionised water, the saltiness of ground and surface water and changes in effluent. The operator immerses the conductivity cell in the sample, sets the cell constant to match the cell in use and selects a suitable one of the 5 ranges. Temperature compensation, automatic or set by hand between 0 and 50 °C, corrects the reading because conductivity rises as a sample warms, and the value is then read on the LED display.

Frequently Asked Questions
What range does the meter cover?
It measures from 0 to 1000 Mhos/cm in 5 ranges, with an accuracy of ±1% FS ±1 digit.
Why is the cell constant adjustable?
Conductivity cells differ slightly in their geometry, so the adjustable cell constant lets the meter be matched to whichever cell is connected.
How is temperature handled?
Temperature compensation can be automatic or manual over 0 to 50 °C, correcting readings because the conductivity of a solution changes with its temperature.
What display and supply does it use?
Values are shown on a 3.5 digit LED display, and the meter is powered from a 230 V ±10%, 50 Hz AC supply.
What is conductivity measurement used for?
It gives a quick measure of dissolved ionic matter, used to check purified water, compare ground and surface waters and follow changes in industrial effluent.
