Flasks, especially those with rounded bases, do not stand safely on a flat bench, and a group of flasks of different sizes takes up space and can be knocked over. The stand gives them a set place: the user puts each flask on the deck level that suits its diameter, from 25 mm up to 159 mm, so that small and large flasks can be kept together while they are being filled, cooled or waiting for use.
