It atomizes up to 3.0 litre of water per hour at full evaporation in the driest ambient condition, has a 304 grade stainless steel body tank and stainless steel housing on a castor wheel, and is driven by a 1/20 HP motor from a 220/230 V single phase supply.

What Is the Humidifier Used For?

In a rotating disc humidifier, a spinning disc throws water from the tank against a splash plate, breaking it into fine droplets that evaporate into the air and raise its humidity. It is used where a room or other enclosed area, such as a curing, conditioning or growth room, needs its humidity raised above the natural level. The unit is wheeled into place, the tank is filled and the motor is run continuously, with the optional humidity controller and timer box switching it to hold the required level. Evaporation, and so the output, is greatest when the surrounding air is driest.
