What Is the Plant Growth Chamber (Refrigerated) Used For?
Plant growth chambers allow seedlings and plants to be grown under repeatable temperature, humidity and light, independent of the season and the weather outside, so that the effect of one factor can be studied while the others are held constant. The user sets temperature and humidity on the digital controllers and the day and night periods on the cyclic timers, places pots or trays on the perforated trays and shelves, and observes growth through the clear inner door without disturbing the conditions. The lighting is arranged to limit the heat it adds to the chamber, and humidity is raised by spray or injection with tubular immersion heaters.
