What Is the Bar Bending Machine Used For?
Bars for reinforced concrete are bent to the shapes and angles given in the bar bending schedule, such as hooks, cranks and stirrups, so that they fit the design. The operator presets the required angle, places the TMT bar in the machine and starts the bend; the automatic angle selection stops the bend at the preset angle, so repeated bars come out to the same shape in one step. The same machine serves for various forms of bends as well as for stirrups.
