Radius Bending Machine
Product Code : EL-STLE-10571
Radius Bending Machine (code EL-STLE-10571) is a radius bender for forming reinforcement bar into rings without first pre-bending the end of the bar. A guard holds the operator's hands clear of the forming rolls, the drive rollers do not rotate while the guard is open, and after each ring is formed the guard hinges back to the closed position as the finished shape is lifted out.

What Is the Radius Bending Machine Used For?
Curved and circular reinforcement, such as rings for round columns, tanks and piles, is produced by passing the bar through forming rolls that bend it progressively to the required radius. Because this bender needs no pre-bend at the end of the bar, the operator can feed the straight rebar directly. The rolls turn only with the guard closed, keeping hands clear while the ring is formed; the guard then hinges open so that the ring can be lifted out, and swings back closed ready for the next bar.
What to Specify When Ordering
- Quantity — the number of radius benders required.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the bar end need to be pre-bent?
No. Radius rebar goes into this bender straight, as the machine forms it without any pre-bend at the end of the bar.
How does the guard protect the operator?
The guard shields the forming rolls from the operator's hands, and the drive rollers stay still for as long as it is open.
How is a finished ring taken out?
When forming is complete the ring is lifted clear, and the hinged guard swings back to its closed position ready for the next bar.
